Family and friends with the help of local police carried out a significant search near Old Hollow Street on Thursday for a Mt. Prospect man who disappeared several days ago.

By nightfall, there was no sign of Ray Bachman, 22, who was last seen leaving his job at O’Callaghan’s Pub on Saturday night around 11pm.

Bachman was reported missing Tuesday morning after he failed to report for work and his family was unable to locate him. “It’s very unusual for [Ray] to skip work or just leave without telling anyone,” Bachman’s father said.

Police have found no signs of foul play, but are concerned by the fact that Bachman appears to have left without taking any possessions.
